The Impact Of Zodiacal Knowledge
An understanding of zodiac personalities and their traits would enable us to get a good understanding of people around us, and could help assist in keeping healthy and sound relationships.
This is because when we understand what the personality is of another person and what are their likes and dislikes are, it is highly likely that we will be able to maintain a healthy relationship with them.
In most intimate relationships, such as husband and wife, parents and children, best friends, etc…, the basic reason of most of the break-ups is lack of understanding.
It is often complained that the other person was unable to understand us and the same complaint is made by the other person for us.
Therefore, this knowledge will enable us to have a good understanding of what the other person expects and desires from us and what are the factors which make them happy or annoyed.
What Are Zodiacs?
Zodiac is the ring of twelve celestial stations, which the Sun appears to be passing through each year, as the earth orbits around it.
It is interesting to note that the Zodiac constellations appear to be situated along the path of the sun, the epileptic, from our perspective.
However, there are vast distances of hundreds of light years between the zodiacal stars and our solar system.
Therefore, the sun in reality does not pass through these zodiacal constellations, but from our perspective, it appears that it is moving through those constellations.
The Twelve Stations Of The Zodiac
The celestial stations are basically imaginary patterns of stars, which appear to have some images when seen from the earth.
The zodiacal constellations are divided into the following twelve signs according to their appearance:
1. Aries – The Ram
2. Taurus – The Bull
3. Gemini – The Twins
4. Cancer – The Crab
5. Leo – The Lion
6. Virgo – The Virgin
7. Libra – The Scales
8. Scorpio – The Scorpion
9. Sagittarius – Centaur, the Archer
10. Capricornus – The Sea-Goat
11. Aquarius – The Water Carrier
12. Pisces – The Fishes
The Quadruplicities
Astrology signs are further classified according to their quadruplicities or qualities into three sectors, each comprising of four signs.
These qualities help assist in understanding the different values and characteristics of each sign accordingly. These classifications are as follows:
1. The Cardinal Signs
Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricornus are cardinal signs. These signs are creative, assertive, and enterprising. Their peculiarity is said to be selfish, highly eccentric, and always willing to be at the top of the list.
They always pay excessive attention to themselves, however this means of assertion varies significantly from one sign to another.
2. The Fixed Signs
Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius are fixed signs. These signs are stubborn, inflexible and find it difficult to adjust to new situations.
They love routine life and repeated tasks and do not welcome any drastic or sudden changes into their routines, lives or relationships.
3. The Mutable Signs
Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces are mutable signs. These signs are quick, changing, versatile and volatile.
They adjust well to all situations but due to their complex and dual nature, they are mostly mistaken for instability. However, they are very tolerant and flexible.
The Four Zodiacal Elements
Another significant classification of the twelve zodiacs is into four basic elements. Each element is assigned three compatible signs accordingly. These elements help us to understand the dominant behaviour of Zodiacs.
1. Fire
Aries, Leo and Sagittarius are classified as fire signs. These signs catch fire easily and are always demanding freedom. They especially demand for freedom of action and the power to do anything as they wish.
These people are full of energy, passion and ardour, but they may be inclined to violence, aggressiveness and anger.
2. Earth
Taurus, Virgo and Capricornus are earth signs. These signs have a realistic mind, practical approach and down to earth nature. However, they demand for security and especially physical / material security.
These people know very well how to materialize a non-physical idea, and never shirk from anything. They are pacific, calm, slow and flexible, with an iron will.
3. Air
Gemini, Libra and Aquarius are air signs. Air is the element of communication and exchange and similar are the capabilities of these people.
Therefore they are talkative, curious, light, swift but distracted with several ideas. They demand freedom of thought, expression and movement.
A negative aspect is that they are interested in several things at the same time but are unable to focus on any specific one, and as a result, they mostly never finish anything which they have started.
4. Water
Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces are water signs. These signs rule the world of emotions, feelings, sensitivity and spirituality, therefore they demand for emotional security.
These people are highly imaginative, talkative, intuitive, secretive and emotive, and can feel things which are unnoticed by many people.
However, they find it difficult to adjust in the real world and lack realism. They are also very kind, generous and empathetic.
