This section is specifically targeted at teenagers who are starting to earn money for the first time. Earning money can give a teenager much more freedom than when they were relying on their parents for cash, and it can certainly help to make their lives a lot more fun.
However, spending money is one thing, knowing how to manage it is another. Teenagers are notoriously bad at saving their money, and as a result, very often get themselves into debt.
Unfortunately, if such spending patterns are not controlled early in life, they can be carried forward into adulthood where they can have much more severe and far reaching consequences than they do when you are a teenager.
