The Cool Attitude
In this final part we will look into some of the ways how a person could really become popular and impressive.
In previous parts we discussed some of the fake attitude masks people wear in order to get attention, to be praised, to impress or simply to be different.

Note that these desires and intentions are not wrong in their originality. The problem is in the means which you use to achieve them.
We are all born with the desire to be identified as an individual who should be recognised for their talents and qualities.
There is nothing wrong in trying to be popular or impressive, but this should be done positively, without harming others either physically or psychologically.
Now we will see some of the ways by which you could really become a cool person.
Be Yourself!

This is something very important, to truly recognise and accept who you are. Don’t disguise yourself by pretending to be someone else. People like uniqueness and individuality.
If you mimic someone else or try to copy the style of others, you would simply loose your identity and others would not notice you for who you are.
Rather you would be identified as the extended or shadow personality of the person you are pretending to be.
Be Creative And Imaginative!

Creativity breeds Style. By being creative you are able to express yourself and your ideas. Try practicing mind exercises which enhance creativity. You will find valuable articles on this site about how to use creativity.
One other simple method is to develop a habit of daily meditation and to minimise the amount of time you devote to T.V or movies.
Rather find some activity such as strategy based video / board games which require your mind to think and solve problems.
Be A Nice Dresser!

Appearance matters a lot in many cases, and those who do not appear nice or somewhat attractive are mostly unpopular.
Rather than observing the “in-fashion” clothing, you should try wearing the outfit which suits you and you look good in.
Many people just follow anything which is in fashion, and don’t see whether they are looking any better after following it. It is always better to wear only those clothing in which you look decent and beautiful.
It does not matter whether it was the style of 80s or 90s. Wear anything which you think looks good on you without being afraid of whether or not it is out-of-fashion.Â
Be Humble And Helpful!

The real attitude which can earn a lot of respect and love is to be humble and helpful for others. Being humble means not trying to dominate others by your power of knowledge or beauty, but rather to respect everyone and not to think of yourself as superior to others.
Always remember that it may be the other person is not equal to your knowledge or beauty, but they would be better in something else in which you would not be as good.
And by this the other step evolves, that is helping others. When you truly recognise your strengths and weaknesses, you are motivated to help those who are weak and be helped by those who are stronger.
This is a mutual give and take situation, and being humble in it makes you a real good person.
Be Talkative And Curious!

Those people who remain mostly silent and don’t take interest in their surroundings and other people are less likely to be popular. People usually have strange opinions about such people.
However, it does not mean that when you talk with someone you should become a parrot. Rather you need to be a very good listener and reply accordingly.
This is what and how people would be attracted towards you. Talking does not mean that it’s a one way road. A conversation means a mutual exchange of ideas and knowledge, so you need to ask questions and take an interest in other people.
One of the best ways to please others, is to take an interest in their favourite subject/topic and ask relevant questions. For example, you meet someone who is interested in showbiz and celebrity gossip, but you don’t have any interest in such matters.
You could become an interesting person by talking more about their topic of interest. Ask questions where you lack knowledge and soon you will see that they start liking you, whilst also improving your own knowledge about the topics.
Be Stylish

If you want to be noticed for your individuality, one helpful thing is to wear clothes and perfumes which may become your own style & identity. Try wearing a particular perfume regularly so it becomes your “sign”.
You can try anything to build up your own style. The more creative you become, the more style you could incorporate into your personality. This site may help you more: Develop Your Own Style
Be Informative!

People are naturally attracted towards those who have a lot of general information. Information comes through reading mostly, so try reading different books and magazines to be up to date. But I would suggest avoiding watching or reading too much news, as it may depress you.
Avoid Pessimism

Optimistic people are welcomed in every walk of life. People with negative attitude, behaviour and emotions are not liked. Therefore try maintaining a positive viewpoint about yourself and the people surrounding you.
In every situation, first look to the positive side and then evaluate the negativity. Always try not to share your grieves and life-problems with every other person frequently.
Rather share and discuss it with only your loved ones and those on whom you can truly trust. The more you look happy and satisfied, the more people would idealise you.
If you truly try to adopt these habits, you would soon notice a change of behaviour and responses by other people.
It is much more promising and fulfilling to be praised and appreciated for your true talents, rather than trying to steal praise or attention for a little time on a fake basis.
