The Meaning Of Living Life With Purpose
- Are you in control of your life? Or do you live by chance?
- It’s not what you say, but what you do that matters!
- Find out how to live a more purposeful life!
Did you ever stop to think why you are here? I mean, what’s the point of living if you don’t have a purpose in life?
Out of all the millions of sperm that could have beat you to the egg, you made it. So surely you must be here for a reason? Surely there must be a purpose for your life?

Yet despite the amazing achievement of our existence, many people live with little or no purpose in life. You ask them what they are going to do tomorrow? They say, “I don’t know”. You ask them what they are going to do next year? They say, “whatever” or “lets see what comes up”.
Living Life By Rolling Dice
The truth is, most people do not live a life that is purpose driven. And so their life is lived by chance, reacting to things that happen to them, rather than making things happen for them.
It’s almost as if someone is controlling their life by throwing dice. A chance encounter, a chance phone call, a chance event.
The trouble is, these people never know how the dice are going to land. And so they live their life not only randomly, but with very little control.
As a result their life often seems to lack any real meaning, and is filled with a sense of uncertainty as to what the future may hold.

But not all people are like this. Some people will take the dice, put them on the floor and stamp on them. They don’t want someone controlling their life with some stupid dice.
No. They want to live a life with purpose, and control their own destiny. And they do this by setting clearly defined specific goals.
Living a life with purpose, enables these people to make sure that the actions they take on a daily basis, lead to the accomplishment of the things they want to do in life. This enables them to create their own life, rather than reacting to the lives of others.
What Is The Purpose Of Life?
So what is your purpose in life? Don’t ask me! I don’t have a clue what your purpose is! Seeking one’s purpose in life is something only you can do.
Everyone is different, so we will each have different types of purpose. But the truth is, it doesn’t really matter what you do. What counts is that you are doing something, and living a life with purpose rather than a life without one.

The sad fact is, many people struggle to find a purpose in life, and some never find it at all. These people often live random lives, going from day to day, without ever really going anywhere.
Because they lack meaning and purpose, they ultimately lack any control over how their life turns out. And so in the end, they live their life by throwing dice. By chance.
Finding Purpose In Your Life
Living a life with purpose doesn’t necessarily mean you have to decide right now exactly what you want to do in life. Living purposefully is much more than that.
Sure, having a life purpose is something that you can work towards as your overall goal. But life should also be filled with smaller goals, that give it purpose on a day to day basis.
For example, if you wanted to start exercising, that would give your life purpose. You have set yourself a goal to exercise, and so the actions you take in the future, are taken with a purpose working towards achieving that goal.

However, it is extremely important for your goals to be specific. So just saying you want to exercise isn’t enough.
Rather, it would be better to say you want to exercise 4 times a week, for 30 minutes on the exercise bike. This tells you exactly what you should be doing, and allows you to monitor your progress.
By doing so, you can then see if what you are doing is consistent with what you wanted to do. This is important, because what really counts is not what you say, but what you do.
A Purpose Driven Life
By starting to live more purposefully in small areas of your life, such as by setting goals and working towards their achievement, you will automatically start bringing purpose to your life and living a life that has greater meaning.
This will then allow you to move onto bigger areas of your life, and apply purposefulness there, until your whole life is lived purposefully.
Once you are able to live purposefully you will feel in control of your life, and as a result, much happier with it.
Chasing Childhood Dreams (Again)
If you are currently struggling to find your purpose in life, don’t worry, you are not alone! Just because you can’t think of it now, doesn’t mean you will never find it.
It is often said that people first discover their life purpose as children. However because of their parents, or limiting self doubt, they give up on their dreams and choose a more traditional “safer” way of life.
Unfortunately, because they end up doing something they never really wanted to do, or doing it for the wrong reasons, they end up lacking fulfillment in their life and so feel they lack purpose.
The most successful people in life often knew exactly what they wanted to be as children. They had a dream, and went for it, no matter what anyone told them.
They may not have got their ideal job straight away, but they made sure they kept working at it until they did.

What did you want to be as a child? What dreams did you have that you gave up on, because of something which someone may have said?
No matter how silly it may sound, or how impossible it may seem, would doing it make you happy? Could that be your life purpose?
So take some time to think about your childhood dreams, and if there is something you really wanted to do, then do it!
Don’t think about how you are going to do it, or what other people will say about it, just use it as your life purpose and the rest will sort itself out.

What advise can you give for people suffering chronic pain. An article about this could help. So many people like myself suffer constant pain that cant’t be cured and constantly gets our attention. The thought of most activities just brings to mind what kind of pain it will stir up even more.
Then you add mental depression, the kind that is not emotional but actually physical (the brain just doesn’t work right at times and is very very sluggish).
These problems make so much of this self help impossible to follow most of the time. In my case I have extreme wrist pain and depression.
You do have a great great site it’s just I just noticed that this is never dealt with in all the web sites that write about self improvement.
Mike
Mike, Somebody contacted me about this very subject a few weeks ago. They were suffering from chronic pain, and felt depressed at their inability to do everyday tasks others could do.
However in this particular case, it sounded more severe than what you have described. What i advised this person was to not get caught up in focusing on the things they cannot do, but rather to focus on the things they can do.
Even though a person may be limited by some physical disability, there are always things that they are uniquely capable of doing and achieving.
I call this your “unique blueprint”, which entitles everyone to some form of greatness. You can read more about this in the first half of the following article:
http://www.eruptingmind.com/what-causes-fear-types-of-fear/
I also gave examples of people who had severe disabilies yet still managed to achieve greatness. Stephen Hawking was one such example. Dispite barely being able to move, he has achieved more than most able bodied people.
Another example was Christie Brown, as shown in the movie My Left Foot. Despite his severe disability, his determination to achieve something in life drove him forward to greatness even though he felt like giving up many times over.
These are just two example, but there are many more people who have managed to achieve the ful potential of their unique blueprint, despite suffering from severe handicaps.
What these people teach us is that achievement and success come more from the mind and your mental attitude, than they do from the body.
Speaking specifically to you, and based on the information you have given me, i can give the following advice.
Most people do not suffer from some form of physical disability, however a lot of people do suffer from mental disabilities in the form of self doubt and negative thoughts about themselves.
These negative mental traits can be overcome through studying self improvement material, like that on my website.
However there are some people, like yourself, who also suffer from a physical disability. This makes it twice as hard for people like you, because not only is your body limiting your life, but so is your mind. And when you are in physical pain, this makes things even harder.
So in this case you need to address both the mental and physical aspects of your life, since you are already addressing the mental, i will speak more specifically to the physical.
I don’t believe anything is incurable, or impossible. There is always a way to do something. You see our perception of reality is based on what people tell us, and what we personally see and experience in the world around us. Very often we are given a false version of reality that limits and restricts our life.
For example, there have been many documented cases of cancer patients being told by their doctors that they have terminal cancer and are going to die within a few months.
However some of these people sought alternative treatments, and were completely cured and in good health for many years after.
To the doctors who told them they were going to die, this seemed like a miracle, but to the patient it was just another version of reality. A new belief system given to them by someone else, which in this case, saved their life.
So always be cautious in believing that something is definitely one way or another.
You said that your brain feels sluggish at times, are you suffering from brainfog? Whereby you experience a lack of clarity in thought and/or slow thinking? Almost like a dull pain in your head?
One of the most common causes of brainfog is eating too many simple carbohydrates, such as sugary foods, white flour and fruit juices.
These can lead to an overgrowth of bad bacteria (which sugar help to feed) which can subsequently severely impact mental clarity.
To remedy this, apple cider vinegar (unpasturised and unfiltered (braggs is a good brand)) is an excellent cure for brainfog, and will help to kill off those bad bacteria.
So to improve mental clarity, drink apple cider vinger daily with water. The more you can drink the better. In addition to this, eliminate sugary foods from your diet, including white flour, soft drinks and fruit juices.
It may also be a good idea to take some pre and probiotics whilst you do this to help re-establish your good bacteria.
Another tip is to add some cayene pepper with your food, or drink it with water. This is excellent for digestion, and will help to clear out your insides by stimulating the bowels.
I have used both of these remedies with success whenever i have suffered from brainfog due to eating too much sugary food. Garlic is another thing to try, although garlic can cause brainfog itself, so you probably want to avoid this.
Depending on your condition, if you do this daily (without eating sugary food or fruit juices) you should start to see an improvement in mental clarity within the first week.
In terms of improving brain health, tv should be avoided and reading should be done daily. In addition to this, doing new and challenging tasks (things you haven’t done before and find hard to do, either mentally or physically) will help to regenerate brain cells and improve overall brain health. TV negatively affects brain health.
For your wrist pain, is this some kind of arthritic pain? Whereby it feels sore and painful to move? If so, turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory that is both more effective and safer than commonly perscribed drugs.
You can do your own research on this, but you may find it benefical to drink turmeric mixed with water several times a day. If you have extreme pain, then you may also benefit from purchasing some curcumin capsules and taking them with the whole turmeric spice.
If your diet contains a lot of omega 6 fat, this may cause inflammation and worsen your pain. Too much omega 6 can come from grains, and vegetable fats.
In this case you would need to reduce the omega 6 and take some omega 3, although it is important to get these in balance. These essential fatty acids are vital for the proper functioning of the body.
Udos choice ultimate oil blend may be benefical for you. I use hemp oil, which is similiar although has a slightly different omega ratio.
Have a look in the free audio section and listen to the shows about why fats are good for the body and what happens when you don’t eat them.

I think your depression is probably linked with your physical pain, however lithium oratate is a natural supplement many people use with success to help them with depression.
It also stimulates the growth of brain cells, and is neuroprotective against excitotoxins like msg and aspartame which damage the brain. However it should be used with caution, as it may also cause brainfog.
Overall i think the tips i have given you should help, however it is impossible to say exactly, as i have no idea what your lifestyle is like or what your dietary habits are like.
But what i can say with certainty is that diet plays a major role in a persons health and well being, and much of the mainstream information we are given is wrong and strongly biased by finanical interests.
It is a good article and gives a good insight finding a purpose in life.
its a very good article
