Perceptions And The Schismatic Mind
The following article was written by Mr. Kim, who is from Pakistan. He is a student of neuro-psychology, and interested in topics related to self-improvement, social relationships, mind sciences and metaphysics.Â
The Schismatic Mind Can Alter Perceptions
Interestingly, when we relate this Law of Schism to the five ordinary senses we possess, it reveals that according to this law, the exact opposite of these 5 senses should also exist within these senses.
As we know that the opposing polarities are always hidden within the original polarity e.g. success can become a failure and a failure can become success, death becomes life and life becomes death, darkness helps the light to become visible, and light helps the darkness in same, rich may become poor and poor may become rich, a male can completely act like a female and so a female could act like a male.
So there is an endless rate of possibilities within the opposing polarities, to become the exact opposite of their former nature.
Similarly, we have five senses of hearing, smell, taste, touch and vision. This law implies that each of theses senses has the power to behave in direct opposition to their actual nature.
For example, our ears can only listen to the sound waves of 20 to 20,000Hz, so if we take the direct opposite of it, it means they can also listen any sound waves with less than 20 and more than 20,000 Hz.
This means one way it is limited, and on an opposing way it is unlimited. Similarly, we can see only a certain distance and any physical object may prevent us seeing further.
Opposing to this, there is within this sense of vision the ability to see beyond the physical bounds, and to those levels which are not visible to the naked eye (atomic and unicellular levels).

In this way you can easily find out that all 5 senses are limited in one polarity of mind, and without doubt unlimited in the opposing polarity.
This is one of the basic reasons that in our dreams we are able to feel the exact opposite of our 5 senses. We experience that all 5 senses are still functioning, but their scope and behaviour changes dramatically.

This suggests we can purposefully alter these sense-polarities by the means of an organised focus of intention, and this is exactly what the meditations guide us about.
But unless we learn how to shift the polarities from one side to another, we will be unable to apply this during meditations.
Therefore, firstly it is required that in our every day life we develop a habit of changing the vibrations of thoughts to alter the positive and negative polarities, as defined in the previous article of a T.V show and a power-failure.
The Pre-requisite For The Alteration Of Senses

However to alter the senses, it is very important to suspend the nature of a polarity in order to activate its opposite polarity.
For example, if you are willing to activate the infinite vision, you would first need to suspend the finite vision.
This means you have to close your eyes and stop seeing, and only then will the opposite polarity of this sense of vision become activated.
Similarly, if you want to listen to more then 20,000Hz, you first have to stop listening to less then 20,000Hz. It is very important that unless these ordinary faculties of senses are suspended, you will be unable to experience their opposites.
Similarly, if you need intuition you have to suspend logic, and if you need logic, you have to suspend intuition. Likewise, if you need to communicate with the subconscious you have to suspend the conscious.

This is why in our dreams we can very easily experience all paranormal powers, because all of our senses are disabled when we fall asleep.
Therefore in meditations we need to facilitate ourselves to suspend as much of our five senses as possible, because when one polarity is activated, the opposing polarity is suspended.
Schism Within The Brain

We just looked at how 5 senses can behave completely opposite to their true behaviour and scope of perceptions.
This is because our brain is divided into two opposing polarities, which we call the left and right hemispheres and further the conscious and subconscious mind.
Both brains/minds are complementary to each other but are identical and opposite in their workings. Lets look at this simple table which differentiates the working of the right and left sides of the brain.

*The right-brain is the door which opens towards the non-locality of consciousness.

Interestingly, several brain studies and experiments have proven that the brain can rapidly reorganise itself after damage. See the link below for more details.Â
This means that if one lobe of brain is damaged, the other lobe assumes its functions and this is why it can be difficult to firmly identify which part of brain is localised for a specific function.Â
It is simply due to this Law of Schism which operates inside the brain as well that a brain area with an opposite function.
For example, the region of the brain involved in storing memory may also assume the role of another area, such as listening to sound.
Â

This mechanism is sufficient to prove scientifically that the Law of Schism is indeed a universal law which always operates without any failure, and that our mind has the proven ability to shift the polarities from one side to another.
This is exactly what the Chinese symbol of Ying-Yang expresses. The Ying-Yang symbol shows that two different polarities are inter-dependent upon each other for their identification and individual existence, and may transform themselves from one polarity to another.

Another piece of interesting evidence for this shift of polarities can be found in light. Light behaves as a particle and as a wave simultaneously. Similarly the electron also possesses a dual nature of particle and wave.
When we consider this law on sub-atomic levels, it is amazing how often the atomic bodies can shift from one polarity to another so easily.
Summary Of The Law Of Schism

The Law of Schism provides us lots of opportunities. It is a law of hope and light. If one can truly understand this law, then they can find that each problem has a solution and each solution may become a problem.
Every situation has a potential to become completely opposite to its former self. Therefore, with proper knowledge and timely application of focus to shift and balance the polarities, one can bring about the desired outcomes very easily.
Exercises To Do
Now lets do some practical exercises so that you can learn how this change occurs.
Situation 1
You are looking for a long lost friend for quite some time, but you are still unable to find him/her. What’s the good polarity hidden in it?
Situation 2
You worked hard and finally achieved your goal. What’s the negative hidden in it?
Situation 3
Your love life is constantly suffering with relationship issues, what’s the hidden polarity, positive or negative?Â
Situation 4
Find a very, very quite place in your home where there will be no disturbances for at least 30 minutes. Then lay down on your bed in a relaxed position and start remembering your most favourite song.
Do not sing it out loud, only sing it in your mind and try to listen it silently. You will be amazed that within some minutes of concentration, the song with its music and lyrics will start to be played inside your mind and you can listen to it easily.
This is the alteration of sense of hearing (if it does not happen for the first time, give it a try for at least 4 days continuously).

Please try to write the answers for the situations 1 to 3 on a piece of paper in a maximum of 3 to 4 sentences. You may feel that at the time you start writing, many ideas/answers will start coming into your mind.
But you need to limit your answers to a maximum of 4 sentences, and then turn to the next part of this series to find the answers.
The third part of this article is the most important and often most neglected law of the Universe. It is the only law out of this trinity of laws which has the power to create circumstances, and is called The Law of Intention.
