A far healthier alternative, and one that will give you rapid weight loss, is a low carbohydrate diet.

Herbal teas which make you go to the toilet more often may work as a short term weight loss solution, but in the long term, could result in a lazy colon which can give you problems later in life.
The same applies with enemas. Whilst they can be good for improving intestinal health if done occasionally, overuse can cause you problems.

A restrictive diet is one that involves eating very little food throughout the day. Not only can this leave you feeling very weak and tired, but it can also have serious developmental effects later in life.
This can happen because during your teenage years your body needs the most nutrients to grow properly, and if it doesn’t get these nutrients, growth begins to suffer.
Severely restrictive diets can also lead to anorexia, which not only makes you look unattractive, but can even be fatal.

When you try and vomit food up, hydrochloric acid is released from the stomach which can damage your throat and teeth.
Both types of anorexia are extremely dangerous to your physical health, and can lead to an unhealthy obsession with weight loss where the person thinks that they are always overweight.

All of the above methods may cause you to lose weight, but in the long term they are not only unhealthy for you, but are also not very successful in keeping the weight off.
The good news is that it is possible to lose weight quickly and in a healthy way. As long as you avoid junk foods, such as those containing sugar and simple carbohydrates, and do a little bit of exercise throughout the day, you will be able to lose weight and keep it off in the long term.
