Unlearn FearÂ
- Face your fears and they will have less power over you.
- Fear will control your life. But only if you let it!
- Don’t fear failure. Learn from it instead!
In the first part of this article I ended by talking about courage, and how courage does not mean you do not experience fear, but rather you control fear.
Since fear is the single biggest factor that stops people from reaching their true potential, by controlling the way you react to fear, ultimately you will break free from the limits it imposes on your thoughts and actions.
This, and the next few articles, will focus on ways to develop the courage you need to be successful, and break free from fear.

Always remember that you were only born with 2 fears, a fear of heights, and a fear of loud noises.
This means that all your others fears have been learnt, and so you can unlearn fear with practice.
Face Your Fears
You are probably familiar with the saying “face your fears”, well there is much truth to that saying.
The more you give into your fears, the more power they will have, and the more they will control your life. But if you face your fears, eventually you will conquer them, and they will control you no more.
A Fear Of Failure                                  Â
Many people have a fear of failure, and so often do not even attempt to do something because they fear they will fail anyway, so why bother trying?
This is an excellent example of how fear controls your life, limits your true potential and prevents you from achieving success.
The truth is, people often fail, and if you look at any successful person, they have most likely failed many times before they succeeded.
What made them successful was not luck or some special skill, but a control of fear, and a determination to keep pressing forward until they succeeded.
In Brief - To unlearn your fears you must face them. If you do not face your fears, they will control and restrict your life.
