What Are Subliminal Messages?Â
Subliminal messages are designed to program the mind by directly targeting the subconscious, and are therefore not meant to be consciously seen or heard.
Subliminal messages may be found in either an auditory or visual form. In this article I shall concentrate on the visual form, as there is software which is freely available for you to use.
What Do Subliminal Messages Do?
Subliminal message programs (such as the program at the end of this article) serve to constantly bombard the subconscious with positive statements.
These statements are written like affirmations, in the present positive tense, such as “I am..”, “I have…” etc…
The advantage of subliminal messages is that because they directly target the subconscious, they experience no resistance from the conscious mind.
However as there is no emotion associated with these messages, their effectiveness depends on repeated and frequent exposure.
Effectiveness Of Subliminal Messages
What this means is that you could be exposed to a subliminal message thousands or even millions of times before it had any effect.
However the effective dose of exposure (the amount of time you must see a message for it to have an effect) will vary depending on the type of message and the information it is trying to override/modify.
For example, beliefs you have held all your life will be deeply ingrained into the subconscious and associated with lots of emotions.
These beliefs will be the most difficult to change and therefore take the longest time to modify using subliminal messages.
On the other hand, if you have no real opinion on something or are undecided, subliminal messages may be able to guide your opinion within a relatively short space of time.
Subliminal messages may also have quicker and more powerful effects on children, as they have highly suggestible minds.
Do Subliminal Messages Really Work?
If you accept the official stance subliminal messages are not used, do not work and were offically banned around 50 years ago.

I have seen numerous examples of subliminal messages being used in today’s advertisements, here is one example.
If you are unable to see the video, you need to install the free adobe flash player.
TV Subliminal
Although this may have looked obvious on screen it would be far less noticeable whilst watching TV, as your brain would have already been put into a highly suggestible sleep like state.
Here is another example. Look for the word “RATS” at the end of the advert.

When I studied advertising one of the most important things I found out, was that advertisers spend millions on research and are experts at influencing the human mind.
You can therefore learn a lot about how the mind works by studying the techniques they use, and understanding why they use them.
Despite the official stance, I do believe subliminal messages are effective and can positively benefit a persons life if used correctly.Â
Advertisers and the media in general, have been using them for decades and if they were not effective subliminal messages would not be used, and money would not be spent creating them.
What Subliminal Messages Are You Being Exposed To?
Whilst subliminal’s do have great potential to improve a persons life, most of the subliminal’s you are exposed to (via the media) are not designed to benefit and enrich your life.
It is concerning when you question what the motives are of the people who create these subliminal’s? And why sexual subliminal’s are used in cartoons intended for children? (such as the Disney subliminal’s)Â
It certainly does make you wonder what else is in the films and TV we watch!
Use Subliminal Messages To Improve Your Life
There is a program you can download for free, which will display subliminal messages on your screen whilst you use the computer.
These can include your own statements or the predefined messages that come with the program.
It is non obstructive and you can run multiple instances of it. This is certainly something I recommend as running 2 instances of the program will enter 14400 positive statements/hour directly into your subconscious!
However don’t expect results immediately and don’t rely on subliminal’s as your only means of programming. For best results they should be used in conjunction with the previously discussed techniques such as visualization.

The Subconscious Experiment
Here’s an extract from an article that was printed in Scientific American about the mind, which may help you to understand why we are targeting the subconscious rather than the conscious mind.
“In one experiment,
Libet placed subjects in front of a button
and a rapidly moving clock and asked them
to press the button whenever they wished and to
note the time, as displayed on the clock, the moment
they felt an impulse to press the button.
Libet also attached electrodes over the motor
cortex, which controls movement, in each of his
subjects to monitor the electrical tension that
mounts as the brain prepares to initiate an action.
He found that our brains begin to prepare
for action just over a third of a second before we
consciously decide to act. In other words, despite
appearances, it is not the conscious mind
that decides to perform an action: the decision is
made unconsciously. Although our consciousness
likes to take the credit (so to speak), it is
merely informed of unconscious decisions after
the fact. This study and others like it suggest that
we are systematically deluded about the role
consciousness plays in our lives. Strange as
it may seem, consciousness may not do anything
except display the results of unconscious
cognition.”

Carl Marx wrote a book on communism, he said for governmental control you first have to demoralize the nation first through repeated subliminal messaging, he stated in is about a 20 year process, if you compare the 1950’s with the 1970’s, then the 1980’s with today, look at advertisement, music, and movies from 1950 progressing to today and all its content, look at the youth from 1950 and the youth of today, it is very clear that our youth is being destroyed.

1. Do you belive that’s easyer to influence your sub.con.mind with this sleep technique, than ordenary subliminal communication tec. in awake state?

Do I believe subliminal techniques work? Yes! Do I use them myself? Yes! In fact all of the subliminal messaging techniques I discuss on my website I use. This includes, sleep tape, subliminal messages flashed on the computer screen, and I am also experimenting with mind movies (although not a true subliminal technique).
I have written why i think subliminal messages are effective in my articles, but briefly I would just say that they are used by powerful companies in the media, and even by the government (i provided examples of these on the website, if you can’t see the videos then you need abode flash player). So if they were not effective they would not be used by those kinds of people. I also provided several books and other references as evidence on the use of subliminals also.
Is it easier to influence the mind with a sleep tape? Well, I don’t know what you mean by easier as you are still targeting the subconscious, so it shouldn’t matter if you are awake or asleep if subliminals are used properly as they are designed to bypass the conscious mind.
Why are sleep tapes only 90% effective? It has been found in some studies that a certain percentage of the population do not respond well to mind control techniques, i.e they are not very susceptible. This is also found in hypnosis, whereby some people are very easy to hypnotise, whilst others are very difficult. Why this is, remains a mystery, also factors such as drugs and childhood factors may play a role. It has been found that people who smoke cannabis do not respond well to mind control techniques. So the 90% figure i gave was based on a variety of sources and research i did. However if you listen to the audio linked at the end of the article, you can hear an speech given by Aldous Huxley, author of a brave new world. He discusses the use of sleep tapes, which were once very popular during the 1960s.
Overall i would recommend using as many subliminal techniques in addition to the other mind programming techniques discussed on the site for maximum effectiveness. I would also recommend reading this article, which will inform you of resistance from the subconscious you may experience when try to changes its beliefs

Thank you for the information! I’m actually doing a project/experiment with subliminal messaging and I was wondering if you could do me a favor and answer acouple questions for me. if you can’t thats fine but it would be very very helpful!
1. are right-brained or left-brained people more susceptible to subliminal messaging? does it matter?
2. are children more susceptible to subliminal messaging than adults?
3. are people controlled/influenced by the subliminal messages found in backmasked songs? (ex.Stairway to Heaven)
4. are you still influenced by subliminal messaging even if youre expecting it to happen?
5. are you more influenced by subliminal messaging if youre fully aware or interested in whatever it is that contains it Vs. when you are just zoning out?

1 - It should not matter if you are a predominantly right or left brained person, as the idea of subliminal messages is to bypass the conscious mind and implant an idea or suggestion directly into the subconscious mind. You are therefore not analyzing the incoming information.
2 - In general children are more susceptible to subliminal suggestions than adults. As their brains are still developing they are often more susceptible than adults, as they have less stored subconscious information to compare against new incoming information.
There are also differences in overall brainwaves for babies, children and adults which may make them more susceptible. Children are also more likely to expose themselves repeatedly to subliminals, through repeatedly viewing films, TV and listening to songs.
3 - Are people control by subliminals in music? I think controlled is too strong of a word, influenced would be more appropriate. This is a difficult thing to measure, so it is hard to give a definitive answer. However I would say that children are at least influenced by subliminals, if not the musical lyrics/message itself.
Remember the idea of subliminals is to implant an idea into the subconscious, so that the person acts upon it at a future date, thinking that it was their own idea, when infact it was someone else’s implanted suggestion.
4 - some people suggest that subliminal messages are less effective if you know the message before you are exposed to it. This may be because the conscious mind has time to analyze the information beforehand. If you are expecting it, but do not know the message, then it should have the same effect.
5 - You are more susceptible to suggestions in a highly relaxed state, or when viewing TV. This is why hypnotists relax the patient first, to lower their brainwaves. However you will still be susceptible to subliminals, in a fully aware state, providing you do not know the messages beforehand. If you do know the messages, there is likely to be more resistance against them, and they may take longer to have any effect.
Most things that use subliminals tend to alter your brainwaves anyway, such as listening to music or watching TV, which both can put you into a highly suggestible state. Flashing lights can also do this.

Here’s an example;take the world famous Virgin logo.If you turn it slighty to the left so that where the underline and tail of the g form an X,you’ll also notice the V forms a slightly hidden S and the i,r and part of the g form a broken capital E,spelling the word SEX.

Hi there. Thank u for d wonderful articles n answers. I just have special request. I have been lookin for a subliminal software that i can instal on my nokia hand phone. I stil havent got it. D reason being i dnot have a pc so its always net is used via wap o internet cafe. But i badly need a way to create this moslty because i m running a biz wit minus 1 mil which is basically borrowed from various parties n biz is very low n at times i need to borrow more to say salaries. Hence i m trying everything that possible i e affirmation that n this at this time n more o less d last report is tying subliminal picture messages. I prefer having chosen pictures in my own. Finally do u kno a free software that i can download to install on d phone. Pls let me kno. Cheers.

wow great blog you’ve got here. Im only 18 but believe it or not ive been researching the “Illuminati” and all related secret societies and world events for about 3 years now (i was clever in school
). Its shocking that even though theres blaitant evidence that there illegally puting subliminal messages into things and getting away with it, although i surpose “coincedence” is the number 1 answer. I didnt know smoking canibus makes it harder for the messages to effect you - is that why the goverment banned smoking cannibus and put those “make sure your kids dont smoke weed” type messages at the end of films do you think? plus the fact that hemp can produce oil, paper, textiles etc. - i would really like to have a talk on a level with you - im thinking of starting my own illuminati awareness type website soon and im a true “learner” by that i mean im hungry for knowledge.
right now everyone i talk to about the illuminati and messages etc thinks that im crazy and just talking crap. there are a few exceptions which were surprisingly more aware than i thought.

I read about the cannabis information on a book about mind control, it listed a number of substances which can make you less susceptible to susgestion.
But i think the government banned it because of something to do with the cotton insdustry, which hemp was threatening.
There was a program i saw about this a long time ago, which listed a number of reasons why hemp was outlawed. Very interesting, considering it grows naturally in the wild in may places, and hemp itself contains no THC!
I have always thought Darren Brown to be the real deal. He does admit to using showmanship, but says that everything on his show is real.
It is quite amazing the stuff he does, but it wouldnt surprise me if the mind is capable of such things (which i think it is). Perhaps we can all develop such abilities if we actively seek to develop them? Although they have probably been repressed one way or another throughout society.
But who knows? Its TV, so it might all just be a show!
